Galaxy Note 5 provides profit Samsung – Emerce

Samsung saw in the past year for the first time, earnings growth again, though not so much by the smartphones, but due to components and tablets. It is the first profit in seven quarters.

The operating profit for the entire group, which also sells televisions, refrigerators and semiconductors, went up 82 percent to 7.4 trillion won, converted $ 6.5 billion (pdf). Nonetheless, Samsung is still not at the level of 2013, its best year ever.

It was especially the Galaxy Note 5 tablet (or phablet) which caused a rise in the profits of the mobile division 37 percent to 2.4 trillion won, 2.1 billion dollars. The Galaxy S6 Edge +, Galaxy A, Y and Galaxy models also contributed to this process, despite price reductions on the Edge flagship. Samsung said a strong fourth quarter to expect its smartphone division.

Samsung may then still have difficulty competing in the smartphone market, the company remains a dominant player. It shipped in the third quarter more smartphones than Apple and Huawei together, according to figures released yesterday by IDC.

All together manufacturers shipped 355 million smartphones in the third quarter compared with 332 million a year ago. Samsung is number one with 84 million smartphones. Apple was 48 million and 26 Huawei million. Lenovo and Xiaomi follow at greater distances, but do it on the Chinese domestic market just right.

LG appears in the third quarter of 2015 to nearly two million fewer smartphones sold than a year ago, not 16 million, but nearly 15 million. Thus, the turnover fell to 2.69 billion euros. LG have scored well with television sales.

‘Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Available from January 2016 Available’ (update) – GSM Helpdesk Netherlands

With great surprise was concern in August this year on the news that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 were not going to release in Europe. Instead, Samsung is so far only the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + in Europe on the market. Reason for the Galaxy Note 5 not to sell in Europe would be Samsung claims that the segment in which both units are in Europe, ‘too small’ and Europeans do not use the S Pen stylus, would would be revealed by research conducted by Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5
Samsung Galaxy Note 5

rumored that Samsung only “pretending” they are not going to release in Europe, the Galaxy Note 5. It would be a marketing stunt to fuel the popularity of the device. Supporters of this conspiracy theory now seem possible yet to equal get because South European sources around Samsung now report that Samsung plans would be the Galaxy Note 5 from January 2016 still to go in the shops in Europe have.

Samsung itself gave at the presentation of the Galaxy Note and the Galaxy 5 S6 Edge + all that the Galaxy Note 5 “this year” was not going to be released in Europe. That left course the way for the introduction of the telephone in 2016. In addition, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 was early September as prominent at the IFA in Berlin.

There have long been indications that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 finally going to be released in Europe. So all in August by Bluetooth SIG, an inspection body that deals with the certification of Bluetooth devices, a document has surfaced in which European variants are called the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.

The model number of European smartphones Samsung usually gets the suffix ‘F’. The model number of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is the SM-N920. By Bluetooth SIG comes in documents the model number “SM N920F ‘for, indicating a version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 for Europe.

The combination of evidence and news to the confusion, not less. Biggest question now is whether Samsung is indeed the Galaxy Note 5 not going to release in Europe, as the company said previously, or that one big marketing stunt show and the phone still in Europe from January 2016 will come on the market, such as Romanian media now claim based on sources within Samsung.

For more information and all the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 collected at our extensive Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Summary page. Update 15-10-2015 13:40:

According to her, there are no signs that Samsung is actively working to see a European version of the Galaxy Note and 5 on software field no developments that indicate that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in Europe would soon be released. However SamMobile underlines that this could change in the coming weeks if Samsung still intend to release the Galaxy Note 5 in January.

Rumor: Samsung brings Galaxy Note fifth in Europe in January 2016 – Android World

When it became known that Samsung Note 5 would launch in Europe, was that quite a few feet into the earth. Many people found the ‘European version’ in the form of the S6 + Edge but nothing and looked for a stylus. Samsung has officially still nothing to know about a possible European release, but there is a small glimmer of hope, because a Romanian site knows now reporting that the device will appear in Europe in January 2016.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5

The Note 5 is a high-end phablet in the Note series and has a Exynos 7420 chipset, 4GB of RAM and at least 32GB of internal memory. The 5.7 inch screen has a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and on the back we find a 16-megapixel camera. The FrontCam is a 5 megapixel copy and the battery has a capacity of 3000mAh. These Note 5 is again comes with a stylus that can be found in the phone and using a small spring mechanism can be removed from the device.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5

Europe

The device is not officially available in Europe and that finding and found many people simply unfortunate. In mid-August Androidworld published an article about and was out of the dozens of responses it can be seen that there are many people who certainly would consider the device as this one would be on sale.

A Romanian website now reports that the phone there, but also in other European countries as yet unknown, will be on sale from January 2016. Of course, we will comply with a grain of salt, but the information would come from a source directly from Samsung Romania. The website also suggests that this could be even a month earlier, as sales during the holidays a Boost could give.

Do you see more good in the upcoming release of the Note 5, have you already imported one or you have purchased a very different device?

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be available early in 2016 as possible to Europe – TechTastic

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 was announced in August, but remarkably popular phablet was not released in Europe. Consumers in the Netherlands had to do with the Galaxy S6 Edge + because Europeans, according to a survey of the business almost do not use the S Pen stylus.

In the weeks that followed suggested several sources that the Galaxy Note 5 final it will be released in Europe, however, this would only happen in 2016. A Romanian technology website claims this week that an anonymous insider has indicated that the Galaxy Note 5 will be on sale from January 2016 through local providers. If this is the case, then it is likely that following the rest of the European market. The big question remains despite how seriously we should take the source of the rumor, but they will know it was early in 2016.

The European Galaxy Note 5 brings in terms of specifications presumably little news. So we expect still a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of QuadHD 2560 x 1440 pixels (518 pixels per inch). Under the hood, find the 14nm Exynos 7420, which has been developed by Samsung. The chipset consists of four Cortex-A57 cores (2,1GHz) and four efficient Cortex-A53 cores (1.5 GHz). The chip is assisted by a Mali-T760MP8 GPU and LPDDR4 memory the size of 4GB

 samsung-galaxy-note-5

At the back there is like on the Galaxy S6 family to find a 16 megapixel camera with a dual-tone LED flash, optical image stabilization and support for 4K video. Selfies can be made with the 5 megapixel camera on the front. Users can choose between 32GB or 64GB storage memory and the capacity of the battery is 3000mAh. Other unique features include a fingerprint scanner that is implemented in the Home button, and of course the S Pen stylus.

When the Galaxy Note 5 will be released in the Netherlands is still unclear, but when we look at the prices of other high -end Samsung smartphones then it is likely that the price will lie between 699 and 749 euros. Are you going to get the five discs at home when coming to Europe? Let us know in the comments
