end of September is the new iPhone 6 Plus in Dutch shops. The iPhone 6 Plus is the first tablet from Apple and go into battle with several top models of competition including the new Galaxy Note 4 and LG G3 smartphone. Samsung has long been a leader in the phablet market.
Samsung was the first manufacturer that came up with several great smartphones on the market. Samsung has phablet models housed in the Galaxy Note devices. The latest handset from Samsung, the new Galaxy Note smartphone which features four generous specifications and new functionalities. In addition to Samsung, there are several competitors with phablet including LG with LG G3 and of course Apple with the new iPhone 6 Plus which holds a 5.5-inch screen.
Weight and design
The LG G3 is the lightest of the three smartphones with a weight of 149 grams, the iPhone 6 is the equation in second place with a weight of 172 grams followed by the Galaxy Note 4 what it should do with 176 grams. However, the four discs a larger screen so the weight is also slightly larger.
The LG G3 is also the most compact, the bezel of the smartphone is in comparison to the competition very thin. The bezel of the Note 4 and iPhone 6 is similar and almost identical. The iPhone 6 Plus is the first HD smartphone from Apple features a full HD screen. The G3 and four discs feature a qHD resolution of 1440 × 2560. These devices are therefore compared to the iPhone 6 Plus a lot sharper with about 500ppi, while the iPhone 6 Plus features a ppi of just 400.
Processor
Note 4 is the first smartphone which holds a 805 Snapdragon processor, this is a powerful quad core processor which is clocked at a speed of 2.5GHz, the LG G3 also features a 2.5GHz processor but with the older Snapdragon chipset 801. The iPhone 6 Plus features an Apple A8 processor which probably has two cores at a speed of 1.5GHz.
Price
The recommended prices are interesting the Galaxy Note 4 and iPhone 6 Plus are pretty pricey. Both smartphones have a suggested retail price of 799 euro note. The LG G3 is a lot cheaper as this smartphone is already sold for 450 euros. The G3 is therefore the most advantageous choice considering the qualities and specifications.
Especially considering the sale price and the specifications that it may be well with the competition, including the Note 4 and iPhone 6 Plus we find the LG G3 a very good device, which has the same feature set as the other smartphones. Unlike the iPhone 6 Plus there is much improvement can be seen including a qHD resolution and the weight is 149 grams lighter. The LG G3 is now sold for 450 euros, thus the device is very attractive
