Last year, Samsung its Galaxy Note 5 decided not to release the Netherlands. Lovers phablets with stylus needed extra wait a year, but can safely breathe again: the Note 7 (number 6 has been beaten) will appear soon and was worth the wait
Appearance
. at first glance, the note 7 on a slightly enlarged version of the Galaxy S7 Edge, where Samsung managed to make it start much impression of the year. The Note 7 also has curved screen edges, an aluminum frame and a rear glass
But there are slight differences. The bends in the glass on the front and back are slightly sharper, making the phone less striking, but something more comfortable in the hand. Despite the large screen size of 5.7 inches feels the Note 7 if a mega phone and you do not have huge hands to be able to operate it properly.
The Home button is just like a properly working with earlier devices fingerprint scanner, but above the screen is something new: an iris scanner. That technology we met once before at the Lumia 950, but now for the first time available on an Android smartphone.
The iris scanner in practice does not add much. In order to start a scan is to be put on the display first, and then be geswipet on the screen. Then, the eyes should be placed in the correct position and the phone is unlocked – unless there is bright light, or reflects your glasses, or the scanner can not recognize other reasons
The iris scanner use lasts. much more than put your finger on the home button, and furthermore is much more wrong.
stylus
Another difference between the S7 and S7 Edge is the presence of a stylus in the lower right corner of smartphone. Samsung calls this scribe using the S Pen and software of the Note 7 again feature several additional stylus features.
In the daily practice I hardly need the S Pen, but the stylus Samsung phones have always had a loyal following. They can again accurately make notes or draw on the screen of the Note 7.
The stylus itself feels sturdy and has this time a tip that can be clicked. It has no function, but is nervous wrecks normally with a ballpoint pen sitting may click a nice addition.

Specifications
Internally, the Galaxy Note 7 almost equal to the S7 and S7 Edge. That means the performance is excellent, even in the toughest games. The battery is always an easy day, even as the screen for three hours or more on.
There is standard up to 64 GB of storage available, which can be expanded with an SD card. Note 7 and is completely waterproof.
The screen has a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels, excellent color accuracy and a decent maximum brightness. There is no smart phone on the market with a better screen.
Software
In terms of software, Samsung has made great strides in recent years, and the Android version on the Note 7 installed is little to note.
Its appearance is again changed slightly, mostly for the better, but unfortunately with the disadvantage that app icons now have a gray background screen and sometimes cut off. These are practices that we are used to the childish Huawei’s software but not Samsung.
There are also some unnecessary apps, such PEN.UP. That’s a new social network for drawings created with the S Pen, which is doubtful whether many people will use it. And on the far left home screen of the Note 7 is again the intrusive news feed of Flipboard, which can be turned off luckily.
Overall, the software on the Note 7 uncluttered, smooth and complete.
as with the S7 is the camera again excellent. The quality of the 12-megapixel sensor is still not surpassed by the competition and pictures are again good color and sharpness.

Conclusion
in fact, the only big drawback of the Galaxy Note 7′s price of 849 euros. This is anyway a very high amount, but is already quite expensive if you compare it with the S7 Edge, which is currently available for about 200 euros less (albeit with 32 GB instead of 64 GB of storage).
the only significant differences between the two phones are the presence of the stylus, iris scanner, and the slightly larger size of the screen on the Note 7. Since the iris scanner is not great, and the stylus only a limited group of people will appeal, is the Note 7 for most people is simply too expensive.
That does not mean that Samsung has again made an excellent phone. But for most people who are looking for a top mart phone is the Note 7 is not the best deal.
