Samsung has a few weeks ago announced the new Galaxy Note Edge. The new device shares many of the specifications with the Note 4, but has some unique features, including a two curved screen on which additional information can be displayed. The new smartphone is now available at several Dutch webshops.
In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge smartphone much like the Galaxy Note 4, but there are a number of elements adapted. Thus, the screen of the smartphone is slightly smaller with a diagonal of 5.6 inches. However, the resolution of the screen retain namely 2560 × 1440 pixels.
The most important new feature which is unique smartphone features the curved screen, producing a secondary screen of 160 pixels wide on the side of the phone is found. This screen can, of course, be used for the display of notifications. Furthermore, the smartphone has access to a Snapdragon 805 chipset from Qualcomm, this is a quad-soc running at 2,7Ghz. This chipset is supported by the new Adreno 440 graphics chip and 3GB of RAM
