2014 was a year of financial setback for Samsung, because the revenue from the mobile division compared to previous years, far below par. In 2015, thanks to several measures should come back all right with the South Korean titan in the technology world.
Samsung promised to bring fewer different models on the market. It is, however, for some, a rather surprising decision was made: the Galaxy Note 5 will not yet be sold in Europe. Samsung stated that the stylus of the Galaxy Note series is hardly used by Europeans. Which stylus is precisely the distinguishing element of the devices.
But Samsung have launched an alternative device for people who just like to use a large screen. It concerns the Galaxy S6 Edge +, a souped-up and enlarged variant of the Galaxy S6 Edge. In Samsung’s range we see come back to the curved screen edges more often, with the Galaxy S6 + Edge as the most recent addition.
Compared to the regular Galaxy S6 Edge, we can note several changes. The 0.6-inch screen with a size of 5.7 inches grows has to be the most important. While thus the width and height of the smartphone obviously increases significantly, the Galaxy S6 Edge +, it has become a fraction thinner. Where Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge versions with 32, 64 and 128GB storage released the 128GB version remains now omitted. Working memory is 1GB increased to a total of 4GB. The last significant change is the battery capacity of 3000 mAh to 2600 is stretched. On the other hand, probably the larger screen also has a higher energy consumption.
The Edge Galaxy S6 + is available now for sale and has a suggested retail price of 799 euros for the 32GB version. The 64GB version is not available yet in our region. Although there are produced four color variants, the smartphone comes here currently only available in the colors Black and Gold Platinum Sapphire
