Koos van der Hout (trumpet) studied at the Rotterdam Conservatory. He played in The Group of Rob van der Linden, in the big bands of Rob Madna and John Clayton and in the New Orleans Syncopators. He made the Dutch Swing College Band on a tour to the Far East. He has performed as soloist with the Metropole Orchestra led by Min Rob Pronk. Recently the CD (a retrospective) “Jazzman”
Ruud Bergamin (saxes & amp; packages). Studied school music at the Rotterdam Conservatory, led jazz workshops for years, works as a saxophone teacher, conductor and provides jazz courses. He performed and shall include with Roy Campbell, Denise Jannah, Greetje Kauffeld and Rob Agerbeek. He released several CDs out recently TangoZZs & amp; More (2015). A good number of packages for the Jazz Lab comes from his hand.
Pieter van Santen (piano) studied at the conservatory in Zwolle Henk Meutgeert and later Rob Kreeveld at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. He was also a member of “Shocking Jazz Mariska Veres and played with cabaret group” Crème Fraiche. Besides his activities as a pianist in various jazz bands, he also worked for theater and film.
Vincent Cooper (bass) studied at the Conservatory of Rotterdam. In the same year he won the Middelsee Jazz Competition. He played two years with the Glenn Miller Band in France was three years the accompanist of singer Wim Koopmans and is a sought after bassist at home and abroad. He played with Rob van Kreeveld, Rob van Bavel, Michael Varekamp, James Moody and Philip Harper and, save bassist Bob Rigter Quartet, also the bass player of The Trumpeter Pack.
Gunnar Graafmans (drums ) studied at the conservatory of Rotterdam. He regularly gives concerts (with its own formations or supervisor) at home and abroad and on radio and television. He also does studio work. In recent years Gunnar played with renowned names in the jazz world as Povel, Rob van Kreeveld, Deborah Carter, Carl Schulze, Ruud Bos, Eef Albers and many others. Today he is not only as a drummer also active as a soloist on the vibraphone
