Android 4.4 update is available for Samsung Galaxy Note II – Tablets Magazine

Samsung is about to roll out. the update to Android 4.4 for the Galaxy Note II This report SamMobile on its website. The update is only available at the moment for French owners of the unit, but other countries should follow.

The update to Android 4.4.2 KitKat brings the software to N7100XXUFND3. In addition to the standard apps in KitKat the new software also adds new versions of Samsung’s apps. Examples include Samsung Wallet and security KNOX.

Android 4.4 has to ensure that the interface feels smoother and it runs stable. The color of the icons in the status bar is changed from blue to white. Moreover, the main screen now has a shortcut to the camera application.

Also new is the option for specifying a default app for text messages, it can print wirelessly and supports payment via NFC. The update would also be good for the battery life of the device.

Samsung already rolled out updates to the latest software version of Google’s operating system. As the successor to the Note II, was Note 3 , an update to 4.4 KitKat. Also, Samsung’s former attractive, high, the Galaxy S4, got the new software.



Galaxy Note II

The Galaxy Note II was put on the market in late 2012. It was Samsung’s second phablet called. The device has a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels. In addition, had the Note II 2 GB of RAM and you could choose a storage capacity of 16, 32 or 64 GB.

At launch, the device was still running on Android 4.1, but before that in the past years, several updates released. When the software is released to the Dutch unit is not yet known.
