Samsung Galaxy Note 2 vs 3 display Phandrizzle

Overall, the size increasement appears to be minimal, but since thesis are two separate images placed side by side, it’s not exactly to scale. What we can accurately judge’s how the bezels have shrunk around the sides and along the top / bottom, allo wing Samsung to Increase the display size (rumored to be 5.7 inches, up from last year’s 5.5 inches), while keeping the overall size of the device closer to the the previous generation discs.

Accessories makers are usefull getting the jump on the 3 discs where Amazon is showing a few listings before an official announcement could be made here. Latest Software Version

SamMobile received new information or Galaxy Note 3′s version based software from trusted sources. According to Their insider, the Galaxy Note 3 is going to be the most desirable Samsung or 2013 device running the newest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean version and incorporated by Samsung’s TouchWiz UI.

The Galaxy Note 2 Remained in the shadow Regarding Android 4.2 or 4.3 update due to the lack of confirmation from Samsung.

Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie

Since

Galaxy Note 3 will run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, owners of the brand new Galaxy phablet can expect Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie update before the end of 2013. Rumours point That May Google launch the next major iteration of Android devices on October 2013 which Can Help Android device manufacturers to update Their phones and tablets with Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. However, it is not clear how soon they will be bootable to release Android 5.0 software upgrades, unlike with the case of Nexus devices Which Receives Android updates almost immediately.

The Galaxy Note 2 was already having trouble with Android 4.3 update Android 5.0 Which makes vague.

Brand New Hardware

Of course, the Galaxy Note 3 is going to be equipped with all-new hardware components Compared with the Galaxy Note 2. The former flagship phablet features 1.6 GHz quad-core Exynos 4412 CPU, 2GB of RAM and 8 MP rear-shooting camera, while the upcoming phablet will boast quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 or octa-core Samsung Exynos CPU, 3GB of RAM and 13 MP rear camera -. expect faster and more capable performance with the Galaxy Note 3

Better Display Screen

The Galaxy Note 3 has an upgraded display screen based from the Galaxy Note 2. The predecessor has 5.5 inches or 720 x 1280 Super AMOLED screen display, while the Galaxy Note 3 may flaunt up to 5.99 inches of full HD 1920 x 1080 Super AMOLED screen display. It is bigger and fuller with HD resolution than Galaxy Note 2.

Release Date Ahead of Galaxy Note 2 Software Update

The saddest comparison between the Galaxy and the Galaxy Note 2 Note 3 is probably the release date. The Galaxy Note 3 is rumored to Appear at IFA 2013 at Berlin, Germany , on September 4, 2013, while the Galaxy Note 2′s official Android 4.2 or 4.3 update’s release date is still unclear . In addition, another report said That the Galaxy Note 3 is going to be publicly out in Taiwan by September 27, with pre-order date on September 16, 2013.

Hopefully, after the official launch, Samsung can finally put Their attention on the Galaxy Note 2.

Future Proof?

If you are going to think about how many years someone could use the Galaxy Note 3, well, It May reach up to 5 years based on the hardware specifications reported by sources. Hardware specifications Comprised Qualcomm Snapdragon 800/Exynos 5 CPU, 3GB of RAM, full HD display, 13 MP camera and 4G LTE May last for Several years, Especially for Those Who are not going to “Frankenstein” the device. The Galaxy Note 3 is expected to support Android Several versions later than Android 5.0. However, owners can only expect such from Samsung’s official software upgrades.

Choosing between the 3 and the Galaxy Note Galaxy Note 2 can be very tricky, Especially if you are thinking how much the upgrade will cost. The Galaxy Note 3 will be much expensive but sports the newest software and hardware technologies, while the Galaxy Note 2 remains running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean without any way of updating its hardware components.

On September 4, 2013 in Berlin, Samsung keeps its Mobile Unpacked Episode 2 event. During this event will be the Samsung Galaxy Note Samsung Galaxy 3 and Gear (smartphone holroge) revealed. According to an anonymous source, Samsung in the same week already start shipping the new phablet. The Samsung Galaxy Gear should be in stores in October.

Besides this

knew the news source also telling. another interesting factoid Namely Samsung would like to drop. 16GB version of the Note 3 Because of the many complaints that Samsung got after the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S4 on the capacity that is left after Google Android is installed, they can now choose to only a 32GB and a 64GB version to bring.

When the Note 3 and Galaxy Gear will be in the Dutch shops is still unclear, but Samsung will not be long in coming. Knowing I’m especially curious about the announcements in Berlin. We live there!

Front panel Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Note next that of 2 - GSMpedia.nl

On 4 September we travel to Berlin to attend the IFA and that day is the Samsung Unpacked Episode 2 event on the program. It has long been no secret that will be the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 presented what is a surprise is whether we also get the smart watch, to see the Galaxy Gear.

Fellow Wesley placed earlier this week an image of the front panel of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, but I came across a picture which is also the panel of its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 2 to see. So far, Samsung did pretty well to keep the design secret, but there is now so change.

You can see that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (right) is much more angular than its predecessor. Her display is 5.68 slightly larger than that of the Galaxy Note 2 (5.5 inches), but because the bezel is a lot thinner again, the overall device not much larger.

addition to the larger display gets the Galaxy Note 3 probably 3 GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 800 or Exynos 500 (limited number of units) processor.
 Samsung-Galaxy-Note-III-vs-Note-II

Unlike its predecessor gets the Note 3 indeed much competition. Which is already there in the form of the Sony Xperia S Ultra, but HTC and Nokia are working on the One Max and Lumia 1520 respectively. Maybe 2013 really is the end of the year phablet.

3 Samsung Galaxy Note U.S. Release Date: What Not to Expect - Gotta Be Mobile

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 launch date is only a few weeks away and consumers in the United States have bene turning Their attention towards Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 2 successor. And ahead of its release date, there are thingsthat consumers shouldering, and shouldering not be expecting from the Galaxy Note 3 release date in the U.S.

Last year, Samsung Announced the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 ahead of IFA 2012 in Berlin, Germany. The device, Which made its debut at an Unpacked event in late August, was the star of Samsung’s second half of the year. Unlike the Galaxy Note, the Galaxy Note 2 arrived on a host of U.S. carriers later in the year, making it an extremely attractive option to Those in the market for a new smartphone here in the United States. So it shouldering come as no surprise That Samsung is thought to be working on a successor to the Galaxy Note 2, dubbed, Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

The arrival of the Galaxy Note 3 was a given. The success of the Galaxy Note 2 and this year’s Galaxy S4, Samsung Compelled to muster up yet another S Pen toting phablet That it will likely be bringing to the world on September 4th. Several days ago, the company sent out invites to a media event in Berlin, Germany Clearly thats going to be geared toward Samsung’s second big act of the year.

The success of the Galaxy Note series, and the amount of Increased competition has put added pressure on Samsung to deliver a fantastic Galaxy Note 3 and on paper, the device looks like it is shaping up to be worthy successor.

That

Rumors suggest it will have a 5.7-inch 1080p display, quad-core processor of the current-gen variety, 13MP camera, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and maybe best of all, a wealth of carrier options around the globe Including in the United States. The device has pegged leg with a late September release date though that remains uncertain.

We’ve already taken a look at what to expect from the global Galaxy Note 3 release date and now, it’s time to take a deeper dive and take a very specific look at what we do not expect from the Galaxy Note 3 U.S. release date Which should arrive later this year.

Release axle shaft Late Last Year

Last year’s U.S. Galaxy Note 2 release date came long after the initial announcement. While some regions saw the Galaxy Note 2 arriving in late September, the United States was made to wait until late October and late November for the Galaxy Note 2 to arrive with Verizon bringing up the rear on November 29th.

The same deal happened with the Samsung Galaxy S3 in 2012 with American carriers lagging behind the rest of the pack and missing its initial late May release date.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 launch event is on for September 4th.

The Galaxy Note 3 shouldering country on September 4th. Its release date is still unknown.

Consumers should know

expect this to happen with the Galaxy Note 3 release date in the U.S. For one, Samsung closed the gap immensely with the Galaxy S4 Which arrived in the United States around the same time as other regions. It Helped That the Galaxy S4 was Announced in New York but eventhough the Galaxy Note 3 will debut in Europe, we expect there to be some type of U.S. Galaxy Note 3 launch event as well, perhaps on the same day.

More important to consider is just how important the U.S. market is to Samsung, Especially this year with all of the Galaxy Note competitors springing to the surface. Samsung can not afford to launch late as it did with the Galaxy Note 2 and with the Galaxy S4 as evidence, we do not expect it to.

Instead, look for the Galaxy Note 3 to arrive much Earlier than late October, or late November in the United States.

Smaller Carriers

At this point, do not expect the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to arrive on a host of smaller carriers like the iPhone 5 or Samsung Galaxy S4. The Galaxy Note series remains a bit of a niche device and osmanthus, smaller carriers are likely a little reluctant to offer the device to Their customers, Especially since a large screen device like the Galaxy Note with thrives with a massive 4G LTE network covering it.

Expect major carriers. Do not expect minor carriers.

Expect major carriers. Do not expect minor carriers.

The Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note 2 avoided smaller regional U.S. carriers so the best That consumers shouldering be hoping for, at the moment, is an arrival on U.S. Cellular, the nation’s fifth largest carrier.

That

It’s possible we could see some pre-paids like Cricket offering the Galaxy Note 3 this time around but again, This is not the Galaxy S or iPhone That we’re talking about.

Lack of U.S. Cellular

That

Rumors suggest AT & T, T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon will be getting the Galaxy Note 3. Their model numbers showed up awhile back and Given thatthey carried the Galaxy Note 2, this appears likely.

However, consumers Should not expect the device to miss U.S. Cellular. The carrier has shown a willingness to carry big especially smartphones, the Galaxy S4, Galaxy S3, Moto X, Galaxy Note 2 among them, and it will be carrying the iPhone later this year as well as it looks to compete with the big boys.

Do not expect the carrier to skip the Galaxy Note 3, despite a lack of rumors.

Every

Official Accessory at Launch

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 may offer wireless charging, just like the Samsung Galaxy S4. However, Those looking to buy the Galaxy Note 3 shouldering not expect the device to have the official accessory available to them at launch. Same goes for some of the other official accessories That Samsung is likely cooking up for the Galaxy Note 3.

Do not expect every official Galaxy Note 3 accessory to be available upon release.

Do not expect every official Galaxy Note 3 accessory to be available upon release.

With the Galaxy S4, we saw Samsung put a focus on official accessories introducing a wireless charging kit, cases, and more. However, Those accessories arrived in the weeks after the device arrived, not the day of.

That

We do not expect to change with the Galaxy Note 3. Instead, official accessories will likely trickle out to the surface in the weeks after its arrival in the U.S. That of course does meansthat accessories will not be available. We should see a good amount of third-party accessorizes available at launch, Particularly at AT & T.

Multiple Color Options

The Galaxy Note 3 could arrive in Several different colors, just do not expect them on release day.

The Galaxy Note 3 could arrive in Several different colors, just do not expect them on release day.

Samsung loves to launch its devices in an assortment of colors but the company usefull loves to launch them in specific regions and launch them long after the initial launch.

With the Galaxy Note 3 U.S. release date, we expect Samsung to follow a similar route, meaning, consumers shouldering not expect a host of color options in the United States when it arrives.

Instead, should we see one or two with selected U.S. carriers getting different colors down the road. It’s a strategy that we’ve seen Samsung and HTC use with the Galaxy S4 and HTC One and should we see it employed with the Galaxy Note 3.

Exclusives

Speaking of the HTC One, when it arrived, it came with a huge exclusive to AT & T. The AT & T HTC One is the only variant That comes with 64GB of storage space while the others on Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon only come with 32GB.

Do not expect this type of exclusive with the Galaxy Note 3. In fact, besides the color options, the Galaxy Note 3 release shouldering be a fairly even playing field in the United States.

There might be some carriers That boast larger storage variants, rumors suggest That we could finally see a 32GB model, but do not expect Those variants to be tied to a carrier.

3 Samsung Galaxy Note U.S. Release Date: What to Expect - Gotta Be Mobile

Explicitly

Samsung Has not said what it plans to unveil at its Unpacked Episode 2 launch event on September 4th but it’s pretty clear That it’s going to be the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. And it’s at that point when we will not only find out when Samsung plans to release its Galaxy Note 2 successor, but we’ll likely find out when the highly anticipated Galaxy Note 3 U.S. release date.

In August of last year, Samsung did the expected. It Announced a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to replace the original Galaxy Note Which had landed on AT & T and T-Mobile in the previous months. The Galaxy Note 2 was expected thanks to the success of the original Galaxy Note on AT & T and it delivered on many of the expectations of its users.

One of the key thingsthat arrived with the Galaxy Note 2 were its carrier options. Instead of only being available on AT & T and T-Mobile, the Galaxy Note 2 came to Sprint, U.S. Cellular and Verizon as well. This, along with its superior hardware, software and S Pen, made it an extremely attractive device at launch.

The Galaxy Note 2 is still one of the best Android devices on the market to this day but That Has not stopped Samsung from developing a new device. Rumors point to a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on the horizon, and all upgrades.

Leaks suggest That the Galaxy Note 3 will come with a larger display with higher resolution. That it will be coming with a better camera and processor. That it will be coming with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, Google’s latest. There is usefull Talk That it, like the Galaxy Note 2 will be coming to the United States and quite possibly, to a host or carriers. In otherwords, the Galaxy Note is a device That three consumers in the U.S. likely have On Their radars ahead of September 4th.

One of the big remaining questions about the Galaxy Note 3 is its release date. And while we took a broad look at what to and what not to expect from the Galaxy Note 3′s release date, it’s time to take an in depth dive into what consumers in the U.S. can expect from the Galaxy Note 3 U.S. release date when it arrives.

Release Dates

We’ve touched on this before, but we’ll gloss over it again for May Those that have not heard. Samsung, when it comes to flagship device launches in the United States, is not like Apple That it does not dictate when carriers will launch its devices. Instead, Samsung Typically offering consumers a window like “by end of April” and carriers take things from there.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 launch event is on for September 4th.

The Galaxy Note 3 shouldering country on September 4th. Its release date is still unknown.

In the United States, this Usually Means release dates rather than release date. For instance, with the Galaxy S4, we saw an assortment of release dates in the U.S. as the new flagship carriers fit into Their release pipelines.

With the Galaxy Note 3 shouldering consumers expect the same. A staggered Galaxy Note 3 U.S. release window That spans over a few days or quite possibly, a few weeks.

Different Pre-Order Dates

Same goes for pre-order dates in the U.S. We do expect there to be pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 3 Given the past success of the Galaxy Note 2, and we expect Those pre-orders to fall on different dates . That does not meansthat all of them will, just thatthere will not be a universal date for Galaxy Note 3 pre-orders to kick off.

Generally, pre-orders start a few weeks ahead of a device’s release and more Often than not, we get a specific release date thats tied to the pre-order. However, consumers shouldering brace for the Possibility of at least one Galaxy Note 3 U.S. pre-order starting without a concrete release date in place. It seems to happen during every launch.

Sprint and U.S. Cellular Among First

With the Galaxy Note 2 and the Galaxy S4, Sprint and U.S. Cellular were two first carriers to produce or release dates. While Neither will say exactly why they were among the first, it’s pretty clear thatthey need to take every advantage thatthey can nom

U.S. Cellular is a regional carrier, and osmanthus, a far less attractive option than carriers like AT & T and Verizon. Its 4G LTE network is expanding, but it’s still small. Sprint has unlimited data pure to lean on, but it’s still a much smaller 4G LTE carrier than AT & T and Verizon and it remains stuck in third place. T-Mobile is now breathing down its neck with its own 4G LTE network.

The Galaxy Note 3 could feature an improved camera with a 13MP sensor like the Galaxy S4.

Typically AT & T is in the middle of carrier release dates.

Point is, by getting their devices out first, thesis two carriers can scoop up a few customers they might not normally have gotten had they released much later in the game.

With Verizon and AT & T boasting massive 4G LTE networks and T-Mobile now entering the fray, thesis two carriers need all the help they can get with the Galaxy Note 3. So expect them to release first.

Last

Verizon

And then there is the other end of the spectrum Typically Which is occupied by Verizon. Big Red loves to launch its flagship devices much later than everyone else. Possibly for software related reasons. Possibly due to other devices. Possibly Because it likes to watch its customers squirm. Or all or none of the above. It’s not clear.

What is clear is

That Verizon’s track record points to it being the last U.S. carrier to the Galaxy Note 3. If anything other than this happens, hell will probably freeze over. Expect the Verizon Galaxy Note 3 to be the caboose of the Galaxy Note 3 U.S. release train.

Similar

Prices at Launch, Sans T-Mobile

A Verizon Galaxy Note 2 update, possibly Android 4.1.2, will soon bring Multi-View more apps.

T-Mobile has a different pricing structure these days.

We expect all five of the largest U.S. service providers to get the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. And we expect them all, except for T-Mobile to offer the device for a price somewhere in the neighborhood of $ 250 – $ 299.99 on release day. The previous two Galaxy Note models have been priced at $ 299.99 on contract and there is no indication That Samsung will be shifting from that. After all, the Galaxy S4 arrived for the usual $ 199.99.

T-Mobile, For Those not keeping track, recently switched to off-contract pricing Because it no longer requires a contract to bring a device to its network. That is what this means users, instead of subsidized pricing, will find unsubsidized pricing. This Means a different pay structure, not a vastly different price.

Consumers heading to T-Mobile will likely find themelves starring in the face of total cost of around $ 600 for the Galaxy Note 3. T-Mobile will require a down payment, probably something around $ 150, at Which point users will then need to pay $ 20 a month until the full price is paid off.

Either way you slice it, the Galaxy Note 3 is going to be an expensive smartphone thanks to its large screen and bundled S Pen.

Discounts

That’s not to say thatthere will not be discounts on release day. There will indeed be discounts though consumers will likely find the deepest ones for AT & T, Sprint and Verizon. That’s because Those devices will likely be available through places like Amazon and Wirefly. U.S. Cellular and T-Mobile devices Typically do not show up there.

Amazon and Wirefly May slash as much as $ 50 off the price of the Galaxy Note 3, at release, offering a deep discount on Samsung’s new phablet. That it’s possible we’ll see T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular sacrifice Their Own deals but we expect them to be tailored for new customers only and not upgraders.

Carriers to Sweeten Offers

Something else to expect from the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 U.S. release date are carrier perks. With the Moto X, we saw U.S. Cellular toss in a pair of $ 60 headphones to sweeten the deal. With the HTC One, we saw carriers throw in a free HTC Double Dip or flip case to attract buyers.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will likely sell very well in the U.S. so there May be less incentive for carriers to offer something bundled in, but we would not be surprised if one or two or more tried to stand out by offering up a Galaxy Note 3 accessory to Those that pre-order the device.

One Storage Option

Expect there to be one storage option, across all carriers, on release day. There are rumors suggest That That carriers could be moving to a 32GB Galaxy Note 3 instead of a 16GB version but that remains uncertain. That it’s possible it could just be joining the 16GB model on shelves. Whatever the Case May Be, expect there to be only on storage option when the Galaxy Note 3 first arrives.

Expect there to be only one Galaxy Note 3 storage option on release day.

Expect there to be only one Galaxy Note 3 storage option on release day.

Typically

Samsung offers 16GB, 32GB and 64GB devices, but it’s up to carriers to offer them. With the Galaxy S4, we saw AT & T and Verizon offering the 32GB model, but it was not available from the start. Carriers in the U.S. have never offered 64GB variants of the Galaxy S or Galaxy Note. Expect the same thing from the Galaxy Note 3, if there are any options at all.

AT & T: Accessory King

Those who will be in the market for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 accessories will want to keep an eye on AT & T. Last year, with the Galaxy Note 2, AT & T had accessories available much faster than other carriers. In fact, it had a Galaxy Note 2 Otterbox case available before it even Appeared on Otterbox’s own website.

Otterbox-Galaxy-Note-II Case

Expect AT & T to have tons of Galaxy Note 3 accessory options.

It May not sell any of Samsung’s official Galaxy Note 3rd gear but AT & T shouldhave the best, or at least one of the best, Galaxy Note 3 accessory selections available at release.

galaxy note 2 keyboard problem

A year ago, Korean-based Company Samsung Launched its flagship Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Which successfully sold 5 million units for over 128 countries worldwide. The device features 1.6 GHz quad-core processor with 720p resolution display. And 2 GB of RAM and has an amazing storage capacity of 128 GB when the owner uses 64 GB microSD card.

However, this post will not be dealing the smart features of the device, but consumers are experiencing issues That frequently. Problems like keyboard freezing and unexpected stoppage or Google Play Services are the issues I will give emphasis in this post.

First Issue: Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Keyboard Freezes

The Galaxy Note 2 is among the most powerful devices Samsung built in the last couple of years. While it has received positive feedbacks from critics, it is just not free from problems. Here are a couple of emails we received related to this problem:

Email 1 : Hey guys, I hope you could give some enlightenment to my problem. The keyboard on my Note 2 randomly freezes without apparent trigger (s), at least not that I know of. Because of this I’m sure all I ever did to it was update it to its latest firmware and everything in it is stock.

Email 2 : Droid Guy, it seems That GN2 my keyboard is not working as it was before. There are times when it totally freezes up and I can not use it for a few seconds. I’m not really a caller type of person so I Often use the phone for text messaging and emails. The freezes are very inconvenient to me. Any suggestion how to fix the problem would surely be appreciated.

Recommendation

The problem is common to users who owned the device for Several months already. The culprit is the corrupted cached data, Which owners have to clear from time to time. At least, that’s the most effective and safest way That we know of That could solve the problem.

  1. Go directly to Settings.
  2. Tap Application Manager.
  3. Swipe left to choose All tab
  4. Select Android Keyboard.
  5. Tap Clear Data.
  6. Back to ALL.
  7. Select Samsung Keyboard.
  8. Tap Force Stop.
  9. Reboot the device.

10. At this point, shouldering the problem have been solved.

To test the issue of the device, you can simply open your email or Gmail account and create a text message to see if the issue is resolved.

Second Issue: Google Play Services Stopped Unexpectedly

An error like “Google Play Services stopped unexpectedly” in Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is not actually very rare. In fact, many owners have been complaining about it as it happens randomly usefull, Although some experienced Often it more than others. However, resolving this issue is not that easy Especially if you’re not that familiar with the problem. But this post will help Samsung Galaxy Note 2 owners resolve Such issues.

  1. first Go to the Settings Menu.
  2. Scroll to and tap Applications.
  3. Go to Manage Applications.
  4. Select All tab
  5. Scroll down and tap Google Play Store.
  6. Tap Play Store.
  7. Try Clearing the Data, Clear Cache and uninstall updates. [Please note that all your saved settings and updates will be deleted when you do this.]

In case the problem persists, try to go a little deeper by clearing cache and data of Google Services Framework. Just follow the same steps as above and find Google Services Framework from the list of apps and services.
