Xiaomi Apple sticks to the crown with Mi Note – ZDNet.be

The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi phone stays firmly cheaper than the competition. This now appears also from the launch of the phablet Mi Note, a device that is very much akin to the iPhone 6 Plus for only half of the money goes on the counter.

According to Bryan Ma, an analyst at IDC, it is no surprise that Xiaomi a phablet put in the market. “It was clearly a big hole in their portfolio that until now was only partially filled by the cheap Redmi Note”, he said. “Even people who ask for more from a device, use phablets.”

Biggest China
is expected that the Mi Note obtainable from January 27 in China. The sale price is approximately equal to 325 euros. That’s quite a difference with the iPhone 6 Plus Apple, where you pay to around 700 euros in China. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 costs 675 euros.

Xiaomi ended 2014 with an increase of 227 percent in unit sales. That’s about 61 million smartphones and it made a turnover of 74.3 billion yuan (10.3 billion euros). “This makes us the best smartphone manufacturer in China,” says co-founder and director Lin Bin.
