Galaxy Note 5 may get Ultra HD resolution – GSMinfo.nl

The Galaxy Note 5 may get a screen for the best smartphone ever. Samsung would want the device features an Ultra HD resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 may have an Ultra HD resolution. In a leaked roadmap from the manufacturer states that from the end of 2015 smartphones with that resolution will be available, reports Phone Arena. Ultra HD is a resolution of 2160×3840, which is the highest resolution ever for a smartphone.

The screen size of the Note 5 is still unknown, but probably will not be much different from the Samsung Note 4. 5 , 7-inch screen unchanged, means that a pixel density of 800 pixels per inch. In comparison with the qHD resolution of the Galaxy Note 4 denotes at about 515 pixels per inch, while the “retina display” of the iPhone 6 Plus provides 400 pixels per inch

Although the high resolution of the Note 5 on paper sounds very impressive, the benefits in practice will be very limited. A QHD resolution is so high that individual pixels with the naked eye virtually impossible to distinguish, and the Ultra HD resolution would hardly provide extra sharpness. This while the higher resolution will require more powerful hardware, and will have a greater impact on the battery life.

In recent years, new Galaxy Note devices were ever revealed in August or September. If Samsung schedule that continues we will be unveiled the Galaxy Note 5 about a little less than half a year, with a release this fall. Then we know it is actually getting an Ultra HD screen.
