Cover with Samsung S-Pen makes every phone a Galaxy Note – Tablets Magazine

Samsung has registered a patent for a smartphone cover where an S-Pen can. So does the pen on the phone to be inserted.

The S Pen is only included so far in the Note-phablets and tablets from Samsung. Plugged into a slot in the phone. The advantage of a cover may be that the phones can be smaller or thinner, because the space for the S-Pen is no longer necessary. Or there may possibly phone models are released that later either a cover with S-Pen can be bought.

All Samsung Phones can be a Galaxy Note

Samsung last year after four Galaxy Note -phables decided to release the Note 5 not in Europe because European consumers would hardly use the S-Pen. Instead, here now the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus for sale, which is not supplied with the S-Pen and therefore also can not be operated.

S Cover View that contains a patent-pending, shows that the S-Pen is eliminated herein. This cover can perhaps any Samsung phone to be turned into a kind of discs in the future. That would mean that the display of such a phone from a digitizer to be provided, different from the S-Pen the input is not “understand” by the phablet. The patent does not disclose these things.
