LONDON – On Saturday, January 24th, it is now from trio to quartet mature companionship Amsterdam Saints invited for a live performance at Blue Note
Club Sessions in Stadssfoyer Eindhoven.
The band recently recorded a new album on his live debut on Blue Note stage.
In 2012, the Amsterdam Saints got the musical landscape in the album “Marching In” and in 2015 they take it one step further with “Moving On”.
Largely recorded live in just two days, let the Saints hear which they excel: groovy instrumentals, rousing solos and lots of energy and fun.
The new songs are catchy compositions with roots in blues, jazz, funk and soul. From the very first notes, it is clear that the band “Moving On” trio is no more:
Keyboard Born Sanders is the newest member of the band, and fills the historic center along with fiery Hammond licks, funky chords on the Fender Rhodes and strict guidance of the guitar solos on the Wurlitzer.
As usual, the bluesy guitar Rob Verbakel, and the solid rhythm section with Maarten Bakker on bass and William Smith on drums.
