Samsung announced at the Unpacked event in New York today not only the Galaxy S6 Edge +, but also the Galaxy Note 5. We now know that this smartphone will not come to Europe.
The successor to the Galaxy Note 4, which resembles a flat Galaxy S6 Edge + distinguishes itself mainly through the S Pen. Those clever stylus, which you can include simple notes on the smartphone, is hardly used in Europe, according to Samsung. The manufacturer says that research has shown that customers pin the first weeks maybe sometimes from the device, but then hardly more. This has led to the choice in Europe only to the Galaxy S6 Edge + supply and thus make the Galaxy Note 5 ignore.
Samsung does hold a small blow to the arm. In the press release is to read the Note 5 “are not being released in Europe.” So it is not entirely ruled out that the smartphone at a later time in Europe and probably will be delivered in the Netherlands.
