Both devices have a 5.7 inch screen and thus fall into the so-called phabletcategorie.
The Galaxy S6 + Edge is a large version of the previously released Galaxy S6 Edge. The device has two curved edges of the screen features a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Specifications
The smartphone has the same specifications largely if the original S6 Edge. The new phablet same Exynos Samsung processor, comes standard with 32GB of storage capacity and has the same 16 and 5 megapixel camera.
However, the S6 Edge + comes with 4 instead of 3 GB of memory. This allows more and heavier processes run simultaneously

Battery
Also, phone a slightly larger battery: 3000 instead of 2600 mAh. This battery would also be recharged in two hours, in which it takes another three hours at the S6 Edge. Samsung also argues that the metal is 1.7 times stronger. The glass should be 1.3 times stronger

Software
Finally, efforts have been slight software changes. As fast apps can be started by flicking the center from the edge of the screen. The original S6 Edge are to be found only fast contacts.
It can also be started from the camera app directly via a live stream Youtube. Which may be closed or public and shared with specific contacts. The cameras also feature improved stabilization software when shooting video, and there are more options for editing videos available.

Galaxy Note 5
Samsung also presented the Galaxy Note 5 crawling in looks more towards the Galaxy S6 with a metal frame and glass back. The new smartphone in the Note line also has the same specifications as the S6 + Edge.
Note 5 will be released in Europe. The Netherlands will therefore only be sold to the Galaxy S6 + Edge to avoid competition between the two devices. The S6 + Edge is for sale in the Netherlands in early September. The 32 GB model will cost 799 euros, the 64 GB model is not sold yet
