First impressions: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a Note 2 on steroids - Examiner.com

On Sunday, AT & T stores put the Galaxy Note 3 on display, even though AT & T customers will not be bootable to purchase the unit until Tuesday. We spent some time with the unit and can easily understand why the reviews have been so good.

At first glance, the Galaxy Note 3 looks very similar to the Galaxy Note 2. Once you move closer, However, you will see That the Note 3 is slightly bigger, but thinner usefull. The back is made of faux leather, but feels really good without the plastic backing of the Galaxy Note 2. It is actually easier to hold in your hands.

If you thought the screen was colorful and bright on the Galaxy Note 2, just wait till you see it on the Galaxy Note 3 Which is blindingly colorful and bright. The 1080p HD resolution really does make a difference, Especially when you are looking at web pages. Watching a 1080p video on the Galaxy Note 3 is quite a surreal experience with the action coming at you, eventhough it is not in 3D.

We did not get to play with the S-Pen much, but noticed That our handwriting did not become squiggly at the right edge of the screen like it did on the Galaxy Note 2. (This was a problem that was not publicized.) It felt like we were writing on an actual notepad. The S-Pen has a lot of other usefull Purposes as well – we will get to Those in our full review sometime in the next week

.

The Galaxy Note 3 will be available on AT & T this Tuesday, on T-Mobile this Wednesday and on Sprint this Friday. It is definitely worth going to a store to take a look at this technological marvel, even if you do not have plans to buy it.
