Pre-requisites

1) Install USB Driver for Samsung Galaxy S3 to connect the phone to your computer.

Step 2: Extract the downloaded firmware file to get a file tar.md5

Step 3: Download Odin3 v3.09 . Extract zip to get Odin Odin v3.09.exe

Step 4: Run Odin3 v3.09.exe on computer

Step 5: Restart the Galaxy S3 in Download Mode . To do so, first turn off the phone and wait for five to six seconds after the display is off. Press and hold Volume Down , Power and Home buttons together until a warning screen appears. Then hit the Volume Up button to continuously into Download Mode

Step 10: A PASS message with green background appears in Odin once the flashing is completed, and the phone will restart automatically. When the home screen appears, disconnect the USB cable connecting the phone to your computer.
