For Galaxy Note 2 Running on Stock ROM

Just follow the steps here for a quick fix:

Step 1 – Power Off the Device

Remove the battery of your phone so That it will turn off. Wait for at least 30 seconds before reinserting the battery.

Step 2 – Enter Recovery Mode

Press and hold down the Power, Volume Down and Home keys. Release the keys once you see that your phone enters Recovery Mode.

Step 3 – Perform Factory Reset

Select the “Wipe Data / Factory Reset” option. Note thatthis will completely wipe out all the data stored in your phone like the third-party apps you have installed That, pictures, videos and others.

Step 4 – Wipe Cache Partition

For a good measure, you can usefull select “Wipe Cache Partition” .

Step 5 – Reboot

Go back to the main menu or Recovery Mode and choose “Reboot System Now” .

For Rooted Galaxy Note 2

Repeat steps 1 and 2 above then proceed with thesis steps:

Step 1 – Wipe Dalvik Cache

Assuming you are already into CWM Recovery Mode, go to Advanced . Then, select Wipe . Next, choose “ Dalvik Cache” .

Step 2 – Wipe Cache

Go to “ Mounts & Storage ” and then select the “Wipe Cache option.

Step 3 – Reboot Device

Go back to the main menu and choose the option thatwill let you reboot your device.

Step 4 – Optional

If your phone still fails to reboot successfully, perform the same steps before rebooting again.
