Security Update March Available For Samsung Galaxy S5, Note 4 and … – Androidics

Samsung Galaxy S5 Samsung has started rolling out a new update for the Samsung Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note Edge. It is not a Marshmallow update, but for security in March

.

Although many people are waiting for an update to Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), Samsung decided to wait a bit with it and instead only a security update out to roll. Both the Galaxy S5, the Note 4 as the Note Edge now have the security of March 2016 inside. In many regions, the aforementioned devices no longer receive updates since the security of December 2015.

The release of such patches is mainly done in Europe. This is partly to do with the lawsuit that the Consumers’ Association filed against Samsung. To see if the update is already available for you pinion go to Settings – & gt; Device – & gt; software update. It is not yet known if Samsung will start rolling out Android 6.0 (Marshmallow).
