Xiaomi Mi 5, redmi Note 3 to Go on Sale From Open Wednesday – NDTV

Chinese conglomerate Xiaomi HAS Announced an open sale for both the Mi 5 and the redmi Note 3. On Wednesday, it will make the smartphones for purchase without registrations starting 10am IST – till stocks last. The Mi 5 will be available through Mi.com, while the redmi Note 3 will be available through Mi.com, Amazon India, Flipkart, and Snap Deal.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 was Launched in late-March, and is priced at Rs. 24,999. To recap on the specs, the Mi 5 runs on Android Lollipop with MIUI 7 on top. The dual-SIM smartphone features a 5:15 inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) with curved 3D Ceramic glass, and a pixel density of 428ppi.

The Xiaomi redmi Note 3 on the otherhand was Launched in India in March with a special Snapdragon 650 variant. The redmi Note 3 is available in two versions RAM and storage – one-including 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage, and other 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. The 2GB version is priced at Rs. 9,999, while the 3GB version is priced at Rs. 11,999.

It runs 7 MIUI based on Android Lollipop and 4G supports dual SIM cards (Micro + Nano). The handset packs a 4050mAh battery with fast charging support That can charge up to 50 percent in one hour. On the camera front, the Xiaomi redmi Note 3 sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and two-tone flash. It ook houses a 5-megapixel front camera.
