iPhone 6s beats Galaxy Note 7 with ease in speed test – iculture

the Galaxy Note 7 has just been published and is technically well done. The hardware is better on paper than the iPhone 6s of last year, but we also know that Apple is undertaking all kinds of optimizations. How would the two daily differ? According to a test, in which we already have reveals the results.

Galaxy Note 7 vs. iPhone 6s Plus

In the video below you can see that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is slower than the iPhone 6s when starting apps that. you would not expect if you look at the hardware in the 5.7-inch Galaxy Note 7, which is equipped with no less than 4GB of RAM and a more recent quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 820 processor. the iPhone 6s to do it with only 2GB of RAM and a dual-core processor. However, Apple seems to have affairs better for each other. at the start of 14 apps that the iPhone 6s has repeatedly fastest.

In the video of PhoneBuff are the 14 apps launched in succession and then closed again. the iPhone 6s comes at the first app (Asphalt 8) stand ahead and will remain so for the remainder of the test. In total, the iPhone 1 minute 21 seconds to access all apps and close, while you need from the Note 2 minutes 4 seconds. In the second round scores iPhone 1:51 minutes and 2:49 minutes Note, a difference of nearly one minute!

Apple optimizes better
Although the testers try in this movie to mimic a “realistic” situation, it is obviously not something you in does daily life. But it shows well the strengths and weaknesses of the Note 7 are: you get a lot of powerful hardware at home, but loading games will take much longer than necessary. Apple benefits from the fact that they make both hardware and software and can pair them together properly. That is perhaps why Apple so eager to show the latest games on the stage when presenting new devices: they know that all optimizations have been implemented and that the image does not stutter.

Transitioning to new model does not require
But it is also the Achilles heel of future Apple: iPhones today are so good and so fast that further speed improvements does not really make sense anymore. As a user, there is little to gain profit by purchasing a new device, you’ll eventually reflected in flattening sales.

An extension of last year complies indeed still fine. About a week or two we’ll see if Apple with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus again speedups has achieved with the A10 chip. Also we know whether Apple has chosen more memory, as they did at the iPad Pros. According to rumors, get the larger model of the iPhone 7 will soon 3GB of RAM.

LOOK

9-8 · a Geekbench score would indicate that the iPhone 7 Plus is equipped with a 2.37 GHz Dual-Core processor with singlecore- and multicore scores of 3548 and 6430. This is considerably higher than the iPhone 6s and is also higher than the large iPad Pro.
