Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will receive Android 7.0 this year Nougat – TechTastic

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 7 when Galaxy Unpacked event on August 2 in London. The device runs on Android 6.0.1 out of the box with the new Marshmallow Grace UX interface, but according to the company will not take long. According to head of the mobile division, Ko Dong-jin, the Samsung Galaxy is Note 7 updated soon when Android 7.0 Nougat is available.

In an interview with the Korea Herald let the CEO know that the Galaxy Note 7 about two or three months, will receive the update to Android 7.0, meaning Nougat will be released sometime in October or november. Dong-jin says that the company will host a beta for public deployment, so the update does not include childhood diseases.

It is expected that Google next month Android 7.0 Nougat releases for all the latest Nexus devices. It would also like to introduce the company in collaboration with two new HTC Nexus phones, which also run on this new version of the mobile operating system. The Note 7 would otherwise not be the first non-Nexus smartphone with Nougat, because LG revealed all that its next flagship, the LG V20 will be presented on September 6 with Android 7.0.

We hope anyway Samsung word implies, because users are often disappointed by delayed updates in the past. The Galaxy Note 5 for example, was only in February this year updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, while Google update already stated available in September 2015.

The company do not have to worry about the popularity of the Galaxy Note 7, because earlier this week Samsung announced the launch in the Netherlands has been postponed from 2 to september 9 due to the high demand for the device. From August 16 it will be possible to place a pre-order, where you presumably the new Gear VR worth 99.00 euros gets gift.
