Privacybewustwording: I will make Note To Self-challenge to – Numrush

Sthings ju more internet users want control over their personal information. Where is this going, who can see it and where is it stored? If we are so concerned to make, why we read never the general terms and conditions of a website, and we continue to press “accept” click: experts call this the “Privacy Paradox”.

in Order to solve this problem, the U.s. radio station WNYC, a project set up to you in five days to make them aware of your privacy on the internet. Through podcasts, you will receive instructions to help you get started with your online privacy.

Commands

The podcastreeks Note To Self: The Privacy Paradox will start today, Monday the 6th of February, and when you sign up for the daily newsletter, you’ll get five days of an assignment in your mailbox in the form of a podcast.

The commands have a different theme each day, and experts and experts explain the themes. The first assignment will be about what your phone knows about you and what you can do. Veiligheidstechnoloog and programmer Bruce Schneier gives in this podcast is a tour through your cell phone and lets see/hear what metadata is shared and with whom.

I’m going to own for Numrush (and also secretly for myself) the Note To Self challenge and enter each day with the relevant command.
