In the Netherlands, Samsung started distribution of a new update for the Samsung Galaxy S5. The flagship from 2014 receive security update January 2017. Also for the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016), Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 4 is the update for the security now available.
For the Samsung Galaxy S5, Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) is the security update of January rolled out. The update is now distributed in the Netherlands, as appears from the update-database Samsung. It comes to security update January 2017, in which dozens of fixes for enhanced security of the device.
The update was earlier in January already rolled out to several other devices. So came the update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be available and were owners of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge (Plus) the notification of the update. For the Samsung Galaxy S7 (Edge) is the security handled in the Android 7.0 Nougat update. This is still not available in the Netherlands, but the update is already rolled out.

The update is OTA, so using the device itself, automatically offered to the owners of the unit. If you are not message is received, then you can manually check if the update is available. To do this, go to Settings > About device > software update > update now.
