Samsung Galaxy Note 4: red version in South Korea – Android World

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is probably the best phone that Samsung has released so far. South Korea currently testing different providers a new, faster version, but also a red version, especially for Christmas.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was announced at the IFA in Berlin last September. The device has a qHD screen with a diagonal of 5.7 inches, 3 GB of RAM and a fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset.

In the Netherlands and Belgium, the device is in black and white available. In South Korea, the home of Samsung, there is a red version in. This “Christmas version” is initially available only there, but knowing Samsung will also be added to our new colors to the range during the coming year.

Snapdragon 810

Earlier this week, we wrote about a variant of the Galaxy Note 4 with a new-generation chipset. This 64-bit chipset is the successor of the Snapdragon 805 which can now be found currently in the Galaxy Note 4. Although the terms of numbers is not a huge step, the chipset has to be of a different class. Firstly, it is a 64-bit chipset, secondly it is an octa-core chipset and no quad-core. The Snapdragon 810 should be a lot faster, but less power than the Snapdragon 805.

At first, there were rumors that the special design of the device would be tested at the three major carriers in South Korea. Now there is a benchmark result surfaced that seems to confirm this version. The results are higher than those of the ordinary Note 4, which retrieves respectively in 1085 and 3148.

Availability

Whether the Snapdragon 810 version of the Note 4 to the Netherlands and Belgium’s just wait and see. It does not seem very likely. That there are other colors of the ‘ordinary’ Galaxy Note 4 come to us, is almost certain. The only question is: if
