Samsung Galaxy Note 4 test version with Snapdragon 810 processor – NieuweMobiel.NL

At the time that Samsung officially announced the Galaxy Note 4 was the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 810 is not yet available. Too bad, because the chip has a lot in his march. Possibly the chip yet to Note 4 via a separate variant.

Because Samsung is currently testing a variant of the Note 4 to the Snapdragon 810. That’s a 64-bit processor with eight cores using the big.LITTLE principle which all eight cores can be active simultaneously. It is clear that there are quite high expectations for the Snapdragon 810. The only question is whether this variant worldwide in sales.

Samsung has namely a handful of to keep such ‘Prime’ versions only for themselves. South Korea alone so. That would mean that we should wait for the Note 5 or another Samsung smartphone that will get the Snapdragon 810. Possibly the Galaxy S6 but possibly not. Incidentally, the current Note 4 released in a Snapdragon 805 version and an Exynos Octa 7 variant. The latter is made by Samsung and not once has clear advantages over the Snapdragon version
