In the ‘always nice to know “there’s now been announced that the update to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will appear around the end of July. About plans for Android M has the manufacturer still nothing released, but we assume that the Note 4 later this year will also be provided with this latest Android version.
Note 4 Samsung is the latest phablet from the Note series that has been presented so far and we expect the arrival of the Note 5 September as the IFA is again held in Berlin. The Note 4 can now be equipped with Android 5.0.1 Lollipop and the update is now available to almost everyone

SamMobile now reports that will be released the Android 5.1.1 update for this device around the end of July. Samsung test internally for several 5.1.1 ROM for different Samsung devices and this update will bring include the redesigned camera app. Android 5.1 also brought mainly bug fixes that were present in 5.0 Lollipop, such as memory leak. There are also added some useful options like the ability to choose a WiFi network from the quick settings.
Samsung has announced nothing about their plans regarding Android phones and tablets M and which will be equipped with this new Android Variant. Android M has already been proposed, but not yet officially released. That will happen in the third quarter of 2015, after which manufacturers these versions can adapt for example their own skins, after which they can release updates and consumers can install it.
