Android 6.0 update in development for Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, Edge = S6 and Note 4 – TechTastic

Google probably start on September 29 with the rollout of Android 6.0 Marshmallow for different Nexus devices, but according to the sources of SamMobile Samsung is also working for some time on a large update for the Galaxy S6, S6 Galaxy Edge and the recently released Galaxy S6 + Edge. The site writes that the next update for the Galaxy S6 generation is larger than the usual updates released every now and then.

It gives at least the impression that Android 6.0 Marshmallow possible at all in the short term appears before the Galaxy S6, S6 Edge Galaxy and Galaxy S6 Edge +, nevertheless warns the site that it is possible only a maintenance update to improve the stability of the Lollipop Android 5.1.1 firmware. Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge users can in the future more features of the Galaxy S6 Edge + and Note 5 is expected, in addition to the features that have recently been transferred.

The update increases the version number of the Galaxy S6 Edge Firmware G925FXXU2COH2 to G925FXXU3COI6, and according to SamMobile the step U2 to U3 usually a good indication that the changes are more than just the usual bug fixes and tweaks.

Also know the site to be confirmed that Samsung also the Galaxy Note 4 will update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, although it is difficult to be called a surprise given that the high-end device is barely a year on the market.
