Keith Stanfield cast in Netflix movie “Death Note” – Total Film

Keith Stanfield ( Short Term 12 Snowden ) has signed for a role alongside Nat Wolff and Margaret Qualley in the live-action adaptation of the manga series Death Note , Adam Wingard ( the Guest . You’re Next ) will direct for Netflix.

Wolff plays in the film a student who finds a supernatural notebook, which he can murder people by simply their name to write it. When a police officer discovers that the boy is doing, there is quickly a cat-and-mouse game that is unparalleled.

Wingard also writes the script for Death Note. Earlier, Shane Black might direct the film and the script would be written by Jeremy Slater ( Fantastic Four ). Roy Lee, Dan Lin, Jason Hoffs and Masi Oka produce the film. The recordings to be launched this summer.
