The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be provided with an iris scanner, as is shown by new screenshots.
Leaked screenshots of the Galaxy institutions would Note 7 in Chinese and Korean show. Then state in both languages ’Use Iris’ contributions. It seems to confirm that the Galaxy Note 7 can be unlocked with an iris scanner. Though the screenshots come from a questionable source, it suggests usually reliable SamMobile that the images are credible.
Samsung appears to have plans this year to provide more products from iris scanners. Recently leaked out that the company has recorded several patents and trademarks around the technology. In addition, India will soon appear Iris Galaxy, Samsung’s first tablet with a virus. Now Samsung seems to want to bring the technology also to smartphones.
Note 7 would not be the first smartphone with an iris scanner. Microsoft late last year released the Lumia 950 and 950 XL with the same technology. In addition, soon found out that iris scanners in practice seem to work less convenient than a fingerprint scanner. So the Lumia was immediately and placed motionless face to unlock properly.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will probably be later this summer officially unveiled. The expectation is that the Samsung smartphone presents early August, with a Galaxy Note 7 release a few weeks later.
