LONDON – Saturday, March 21 brings the Cor Bakker Trio Blue Note Club Sessions a varied program including a tribute to Blue Note legend Horace Silver with “Song for my father one of the classic jazz hits from the illustrious history of the Blue Note label in his name.
Of course, almost everyone knows Cor Bakker for his work for television, primarily as a solid musical companion of Paul de Leeuw.
Cor Bakker is however essentially a musician and a very good also. With his trio he brings in the Music Building a tribute to the deceased last year, American jazz pianist Horace Silver and greatness.
