The Galaxy S phones from Samsung get for years the lion’s share of the attention and the manufacturer sells the most copies of, but they are not the most powerful or most complete phones that the South Korean smartphonemaker releases. That honor goes for years to the Note series, that something will appear later on and therefore often just newer hardware gets. What also plays a part, of course, is the stylus, which has more functions than the normal Galaxy S phones have.

The Note was the first of a series of experiments of Samsung. The company spent several years in succession, an experimental product to consumer electronics IFA, which is always the beginning of september, takes place in Berlin. In 2011, it was the Note and in 2012 the Galaxy Camera, a camera with Android. The following year showed Samsung’s first smartwatch to see on that exchange and, in 2014, a vr headset in the form of the Gear VR.

That Samsung starts with an experimental product, and then fine-tune, says a lot about the manufacturer. It does not expect its product in the first version of the equal is perfect and tries a lot in his quest to find the best product it can make. The Galaxy Camera we have not seen, smartwatch, Samsung had one generation or five need to impress, and the Gear VR is now also an important accessory for the phones of the South Korean maker.
