Apple just unveiled Their latest tablet, the iPad Air, so how does it stack up to the best of the rest? Let’s take a look as we compare the Air concurrently available to the iPad 2, Samsung’s latest Galaxy Note 10.1, and Microsoft’s Surface 2.

Aside from the iPad and iPad 2, Which both run iOS 7, the tablets all exist in Their Own ecosystem. The Galaxy Note 10.1 runs Samsung’s version of Android 4.3 while the Surface 2 gets Windows RT 8.1. In terms of storage, the iPad Air boasts the most Numerous options, configurations with up to 128GB (though the price Increases Dramatically with storage size). All are competitively priced around the $ 500 price point for base models. The Galaxy Note sits as an outlier at $ 549, while the iPad 2 is unsurprisingly the cheapest at $ 399.
