Samsung presents Galaxy Note 4 and Edge – De Gelderlander

BERLIN – Samsung Wednesday at the IFA in Berlin, presented two new phablets: the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note Edge.

The two phones have similar specifications. Thus the phablets a very sharp image with a quad HD screen. Furthermore, the fourth and the Edge equipped with a 16 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, Exynos 5433/805 Snapdragon processor and 3GB of RAM. The devices run on Android 4.4 KitKat.

The difference is that the Note 4 has a metal case. His predecessors and the Note Edge are made of plastic. But the advantage of the Note Edge is that it has a flexible AMOLED screen that sits on the side of the unit. Thus, the user can open frequently used apps faster because the whole unit does not need to be unlocked.

Charging time

In addition, the charging time is of the Note 4 on. Within 30 minutes, the battery is 50 percent charged. Samsung did not reveal how they got this done. The Galaxy Note is 4 October from the Dutch shops and will cost 799 euros, 50 euros more than its predecessor. The Galaxy Note Edge does not (yet) to the Netherlands, reports Tweakers.
