The Death Note movie perhaps has found an actor to play the lead. Nat Wolff, child star in the semi-reality series The Naked Brothers Band and recently featured in The Fault in Our Stars and Paper Towns, is negotiating with Warner Bros. to play Light Yagami. Writes Variety.
Death Note film is based on the popular Japanese manga and anime created by Takeshi Obata and Tsugumi Ohba. The story of Death Note revolves around high school student Light Yagami and his Shinigami, a supernatural god-like creature that lives by killing others.
Light Yagami gets a notebook in hands, which he anyone can murder without trace . Initially Shane Black (Iron Man 3, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) the Death Note film directing, but he already hooked quickly. Now Adam Wingard (You’re Next, The Guest) planned as director of the film adaptation of the manga.
Fans do have reservations about screenwriter Jeremy Slater, who wrote the disappointing Fantastic Four. The recordings for the live action -movie of Death Note will start next spring.
