October 31: Blue Note Club Sessions in Music Building with The Preacher Men – Dichtbij.nl

EINDHOVEN – On Saturday, October 31 The Preacher They come to Eindhoven. Lovers of swinging hammond jazz from the 50s and 60s can afternoon visit the Music building for a very appropriate edition of the Blue Note Club Sessions.

The Preacher One is the new Hammond trio consisting of Ephraim Trujillo on saxophones, Rob Mostert’s impressive Hammond B3 and Chris Strik on drums.
These three musicians from the Dutch jazz scene share a love for classical Hammond trios from the years 50 and 60. Each of them they have won their spurs in Belgium and abroad.

The Preacher One they go back to the time of Blue Note and Verve, the time of heroes like Jimmy Smith, Jimmy McGriff, Lou Donaldson & amp; Stanley Turrentine, the time of smoky jazz clubs in Chicago and New York. A deep-groovy Hammond organ, a ripping sax and back beats where you can not sit still!

The Preacher
They put a ‘steamy’ show down where the pleasure, but also the expertise and talent from splashes. The men are completely attuned to each other but continue to challenge each other so that the smallest musical surprise can lead to an intense improvisation.

In early 2016, the release of the first album of The Preacher Men planned and touring the trio along theaters and clubs. But Saturday, October 31st so already in Eindhoven!
