Samsung stops final production Galaxy Note 7 – Volkskrant

Exploding copies

Shortly after the launch of the Note 7, because of its large size also known as a ‘phablet’ as they are called, and dived in a number of countries, stories of spontaneous ontbrandende or exploding copies. Several people were injured. Samsung decided millions of devices to exchange. Meanwhile, several media reported seven replacement aircraft that is also in fire are flown.

As exploded last week a Note 7 plane for take off on board of an airplane of Southwest Airlines at the airport of Louisville International Airport in the U.s. state of Kentucky. Owner Brian Green had the unit just before leaving off. He tucked the device into his pocket, then went to smoke.

Green threw his Samsung on the ground while there is ‘a thick, vile green smoke uitsijpelde’, he told to The Verge. The device would then cut across the carpet burned. None of the 75 passengers was injured, but everyone had to be evacuated.
