In response to the results of the investigation into the cause of the Galaxy Note 7 debacle has to be one of the suppliers of the batteries, Samsung SDI, measures taken to prevent a recurrence. As was known, the housing of the Note 7 is too small for the battery, as when using, heat a little expanded. The battery was too big for the housing.
Samsung SDI is going to 119.2 million euros to invest in order to the quality of the produced batteries to improve. For the time being, around 100 employees of the company are working on this already. Buyers still seem to trust in Samsung SDI. The company announces that the number of orders of smartphonefabrikanten for batteries is greater than ever. Also in the new Samsung S8 is a SDI battery.
