There was very little fanfare when the LG Optimus G Pro Launched in the United States last month and was released soon there after by AT & T. Which is a pity, considering the Optimus G Pro’s impressive spec sheet and wealth of special, if not exactly unique features. That one publication believes in the Optimus G Pro’s potential is Consumer Report, Which recently stated That the G Optimus Pro is better in terms of user experience than the still-popular Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

The publication reported on an LG event Wherein 182 participants were invited, all of Whom had previous experience using large-screen phones like the Optimus G Pro and Galaxy Note 2. The study Involved the respondenten using the Optimus Pro G on a one-month trial and comparing it against Their consumer experience with other phones, Particularly large-screen devices.

95 percent of the respondenten opted to replace their old phones with the Optimus Pro G, and surprisingly, 80 percent of These Individuals were trading in Their Galaxy Notes for LG’s new 5.5-incher.

The participants favored certain features zoals the full-HD front and rear cameras, as well as One Of Those special, yet not-quite-unique features, dual-recording. Said feature, Which makes use of both front and rear cameras for shooting photos is alsoavailable on the Samsung Galaxy S4, but arguably less sophisticated, as it can not take still photos.

Despite the overwhelming support for the Optimus Pro G, and the fact that it’s still a great device, many still believethat the Galaxy Note 2 In particular still holds a certain appeal about the Optimus G Pro.
