Step 6: Launch Odin3 v1.85.exe as an Administrator

a) Click the PDA button and select the file with . tar.md5 extension

b) Click the Phone button and select file with Modem in its name

c) Click the CSC button and select file with CSC in its name

d) Click the PIT button and select the . zip file

Step 9: In Odin, verifydata That the Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time checkboxes are selected. But uncheck the Re-partition option, select it Only When a. Zip file is being used

Step 10: Finally click the Start button in Odin. The installation shouldering beginning now and would take few minutes to complete

Step 11: When the installation process is completed, the phone will automatically restart and soon a PASS message with green background will Appear in the box at the extreme left top of Odin indicating successful installation. When the hone screen appears on the phone, unplug the USB cable from the device to disconnect it from the computer

How to fix boot loop issue?

If the Galaxy Note 2 gets stuck ay boot animation experience or boat landing (afterstep-11), then place the phone in recovery mode by pressing and holding Volume Up Home and Power buttons together. In the recovery mode, perform data wiping task by selecting Wipe data / factory reset then select Wipe Cache Partition .
