Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Review (S4 & Why Is No Competition) - SidhTech

The Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note 2 look so alike they could almost be twins, even though one is larger than the other. They have the same touch buttons and the same looks, as Samsung Has not altered the form factor of the Galaxy S4 too much.

When the Galaxy note first came out people said it would never catch on Because of its size, but it Proved them wrong and Became a great seller. The Note 2 has an even larger display, but Because The bezel has made way for the screen, the overall size Increased Has not that much. The Note 2 is 5.5 “Compared to the 4.99″ of the Galaxy S4. The GS4 does have a full HD 1080 screen, though, which is better than the 720 HD display of the Note 2. It’s great for the big-handed among us, but equally thesis folk will need a headset for long calls.

The progression or hardware leg has a bigger leap for the Note and Note 2, but sadly we can not say this about the jump from Galaxy Galaxy S3 to S4. The Note 2 has 2GB of RAM as well as a quad-core 1.6GHz Exynos chip. The Galaxy S4 has 2GB and two lots of quad-core chips, making it octa-core. One core is used for menial tasks, and the other joins in when it’s needed.

The Note 2 has a much bigger battery than the first Note – it’s gone from 2,500 mAh to 3,100 mAh, which offers around 12 hours of talk. The Galaxy S4 has a 2,600 mAh battery, Which gives talk around the same time, as the handset is a bit narrower. Both handsets have LTE.

The Note 2 has an 8MP rear camera and a 1.9MP camera on the front. The Galaxy S4 has a 13MP rear camera and a 2MP front offering. It seems like it takes decent low light shots from what we managed, and the shutter speed is rapid.

The Note 2 has a vastly improved S-Pen That feels as if it’s writing on paper, and as soon as it’s released from its dock it’s ready. You can use Air View, Which lets you preview content files by hovering the stylus over them, and Easy Clip, with Which you can crop and transfer images.

Multi-Windows is of course the star of the show, and it Means That you ca use two apps at the same time, usefull You can adjust the two windows used independently of eachother. The phone has usefull eye tracking and a dual camera. The Galaxy S4 has a lot of features thesis, but does not have the S-Pen.

The Galaxy Note 2 phablet changed the game, and five million-plus handsets have already sold leg. Some will like a smaller handset and will opt for the GS4, but they’ll be missing out on the S-Pen and the bigger display and battery. The S Pen is a really nifty gadget indeed.
