The Android 4.2 Jelly Bean is not an exhaustive update but is still a rarity for non Nexus devices. In fact the Galaxy S4 will become the only non Nexus device whichwill be running the latest version of the Android platform. Even high-end devices like the HTC One is based on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS which is the previous version of the software.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 has ruled the roost of the Android OS operated device till the release of Galaxy S4. The device is still based upon on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and the device will be getting its Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update in the U.S. and abroad.

AT & T has rolled out the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update in January. The Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update is going to happen in the near future but the date has not beenconfirmed till date. American consumers have somehow become used to getting updates after last international consumers utensil Their updates. The Android 4.2 updates are rumored to be out by May or June.

Sprint users are no luckier than AT & T users are still in a limbo about Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. However it is certain That Sprint users will receive the update sooner than other carriers. Sprint has leg Particular about getting its users the latest updates at the shortest time. It has in the past beaten other carriers with relation to updates.

T-mobile is usefull not sure when its users will receive the Android 4.2 updates. T-Mobile will get the update but after Sprint.

U.S. Cellular is fast when it comes to updates of the latest devices but older devices receive the updates quite late. So the Galaxy S3 users can expect to get the updates quite soon as Compared to the older device users.

Verizon happens to be the only carrier That Which has confirmed it will be rolling out the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean updates for the devices hooked to its network.
