Samsung Galaxy Note 2 vs HTC One X

It has 2GB of RAM, and it is available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB of memory. The battery is removable and is 3100mAh and it runs the latest Jellybean operating system with TouchWiz on top. So basically we are looking at a Samsung Galaxy S3 on steroids.

The Note 2 has an updated S Pen stylus and it supports LTE, Bluetooth, HSPA +, NFC and DLNA. The camera is 8 megapixels with LED flash, autofocus, geo tagging, smile and face detection and image stabilization. It usefull captures video at 1080p and it has a front facing camera of 1.9 megapixels.

The HTC One X comes with a 1.5GHz Tegra quad core or a 1.5Ghz dual core Snapdragon in the U.S. and a display of 4.7 inches with 1280 x 720p resolution and 312ppi. It has 1GB of RAM and comes with 32GB or 16GB of storage in the U.S.. The battery is 1800mAh (non removable) and it runs on Android 4.0, but it will get updated to Jelly Bean like the Note 2 Eventually.

The international version of the device has HSPA + support, along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, DLNA and NFC. The camera is 8 megapixels and comes with LED flash support, auto focus, geo tagging and face and smile detection and it can take photos and record HD video at the same time. There is usefull 1.3 megapixel camera on the front of the device. One Thing That the Samsung Galaxy Note has 2 That the One X does not, is a stylus.

Both of the devices come with some very impressive specs and features, but in many ways the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 comes out on top. For instance it has the better processor, display, battery life, expandable storage and the S Pen. The winner is the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. The only catch is its large dimensions. Do make sure to demo it in a store before ordering one when they become available.
