‘Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 + Edge dives in benchmark – Android World

Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge + will be presented next week, and almost all of these devices is already on the streets. Where previously there was talk of a different amount of memory and processors is now claimed that both devices are equipped with 4GB of RAM and the same processor.

Note 5 of Samsung will be presented August 13 and is being supplied with a stylus to operate the device. Also S6 Edge + -Handset is expected with a larger display screen with rounded edges than the current S6 Edge. On both devices said this would differ slightly in terms of internal hardware, including the terms of processor and amount of memory.

Now AnTuTu suggests that both devices will get a Exynos 7420 chipset, which we know from the S6 and S6 Edge. Earlier, there was talk about a different amount of memory and the discs would go to 5 equipped with the new 7422 chipset. According to the website is not the case, and both devices get 4GB of RAM on board, which was previously mentioned that the amount would differ.

In addition, the site also mentions that the screen diagonals of the devices be different, where previously was once again told that they would get both a diagonal of 5.7 inches. According to this information, the Note is indeed equipped with such a big screen, but the display of the Edge + gets a diagonal of 5.5 inches, with the same resolution of 2560×1440 pixels is maintained. Both devices have 32GB of storage memory on board, a 16 megapixel camera on the back and a 5 megapixel FrontCam, as previously mentioned.

All in all, everything seemed to be all fairly well known, but this last information we can ask the question again; who is right?

AnTuTu benchmark

According AnTuTu won the Note 5 a score of 69702 points, while the putative S6 Edge + earlier earned a score of 68345 points. Our S6 took the same test 69 919 points with an identical resolution and processor of course is not very crazy. The S6 and S6 Edge may be equipped with 3GB memory and thus is slightly less. Whether this be the final specifications have been simply wait, because what was previously stated that the Note 5 would be slightly better equipped in terms of processor and memory is now no longer the case.
