Xiaomi Redmi Note 2: cheap smartphone with powerful processor – Android World

Xiaomi has Redmi Note 2 officially been revealed, a 5.5-inch phablet with Helio X10 chipset from MediaTek . Also on the other specifications has little or nothing to the brands and the retail price for the device can be seen as a very big plus.

The Redmi Note 2 runs 7 based on MIUI Android 5.0 Lollipop and includes 2GB of memory. The screen has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, the device measures 152 x 76 x 8.3mm and weighs 160 grams. The camera on the back is a 13-megapixel camera, while the FrontCam shoot pictures at a resolution of 5 megapixels. The battery has a capacity of 3060mAh, and the device uses the Helio X10 chipset from MediaTek with eight cores. In the model with 16GB of internal memory that is clocked at 2.0GHz, while the more expensive 32GB model is the 2.2GHz clock speed.

This processor is also found in the X5 or the HTC One Meizu M9 +, devices that cost many times more than this Xiaomi Redmi Note 2. The enclosure is made of polycarbonate and The device comes in different colors on the market, including yellow, pink, blue, white and black. Also, WiFi, Bluetooth, infrared and partial European LTE support are provided as two SIM card slots which can be found in the device.

Availability

The 3G version with 16GB of storage memory costs converted € 112.50. The 4G version with 16GB of internal memory will cost converted € 126 euros, while the 32GB variant € 140 must muster. From 14 August, in China the device are for sale, but plans to release the device in other markets are not there yet. Of course it will not be too long before you can import the system through third-party vendors, but that will cost you obviously something more than the official price.
