Why the Galaxy Note 5 does not come to Europe – TechTastic

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + and Galaxy Note 5 have been officially announced, but for now we will expect only the device with curved edges because the Korean company says still have no plans to release the Galaxy Note 5 in Europe. That is for many an incomprehensible decision, since the introduction of the Galaxy Note series namely Samsung unveiled each year at the IFA fair in Berlin, a new version, and thereby put at the same time almost always the standard phablets.

In addition, stand Galaxy Note owners known to be very loyal. Fans of the Galaxy Note series say their discs can only be replaced by another Note, unfortunately that option is there will soon no longer in Europe. Americans can buy the Note 5, Asian consumers can purchase the Note 5, but you come from the Netherlands or another European country, then there is no other option than to seek an alternative. Instead of the Galaxy 5, Samsung for the European market only the 5.7-inch Galaxy S6 + Edge introduced without stylus.

Why European consumers are not able to make the choice between a Galaxy Note and Galaxy 5 S6 + Edge is completely unclear to us. Though the reaction online is not much positieer, many people do not simply that there is a choice they made. Not that there also something fundamentally wrong with the Galaxy S6 + Edge as the device is in many ways identical, but it is simply not Galaxy Note

The English retailer Clove Technology is even launched a campaign to bring the Galaxy Note 5 to Europe, you too can help by signing the petition. It will probably not be the only retailer who thinks so, because the Galaxy Note series was nevertheless still one of the most popular high-end smart phones that was released annually. So I personally know of people who walk around with a Galaxy Note phablet instead of a Galaxy S6 Edge.

It seems clear in any case that the media, consumers, retailers, fans and current Galaxy Note users the find a bad idea to release the Galaxy Note 5 not in Europe.

But why Samsung has still chosen to go down this path? Well this decision is the result of a market that Samsung has conducted European artists owners and thus showing that these consumers did not buy the phablet because the S Pen stylus, but because of the larger screen and multitasking capabilities.

Partly we can understand the decision of Samsung, because allegedly the Galaxy S6 Edge has done better than expected and this would be at the expense of the regular Galaxy S6. Presumably Samsung hopes that the same will happen with the introduction of the Galaxy S6 Edge + with larger screen, despite the demand for the Galaxy S6 Edge + seems to be much smaller and that is something we also hear from several Dutch stores.

Samsung has the door slammed incidentally, not quite, but the chance that we may seem to be nil the Note 5 2015. Yet many depend on the success of the Galaxy S6 + Edge, with good performance, the situation will remain so, should it prove to be unsuccessful, the discs will still 5 its way to Europe
