HTC One vs Samsung Galaxy Note 2: Who Da Boss? - Auto-o-Mobile

We like nothing more than to put two devices up against each other and see which is better and this time we’ll be taking a look at the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and the HTC One, Which will be realeased and day now. They are both big devices with plenty to offer.

They are both run Android handsets and have very different appearances from eachother. As the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a big screen it falls into the category phablet. That you will want to bear in mind when making your decision as to Which device to go for.

The HTC One has a 4.7 inch Super LCD3 display with 469ppi and a resolution of 1920 x 1080p. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 offers a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 267ppi and 1280 x 720 resolution. You May want to go with the HTC One handset if you are after the better display.

The HTC One has 2GB of RAM and comes in either 32GB or 64GB and has support for SD card. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is available in 16GB, 32GB or 64GB and has 2GB of RAM. The device has support for SD card usefull and Allows you to add on an extra 64GB.

The HTC One comes with Jellybean 4.1.2 Which can be updated and it has usefull Sense UI. The Samsung Galaxy Note comes with 2 usefull Jellybean 4.1.2 Which can be updated. The handset has TouchWiz usefull.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is the largest out of the two handsets. It measures 151.1mm x 0.5mm x 9.4mm and weighs 183 grams. It comes in the colors brown, blue, gray, white, pink or ruby. The HTC One measures 137.4mm x 68.2mm x 9.3mm and weighs 143 grams and is available in either black, red or silver.

The HTC One comes with a 8 megapixel camera and supports Flash as well as coming with touch focus, smile detection and face detection. It records in 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has a 1.9 megapixel camera on the front of the device and the HTC One has the Ultra Pixel 4 Which megapixel camera has autofocus and LED flash and records video in HD. It usefull has a 4 megapixel camera, but this does not compare to the 8 megapixel camera Which the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has to offer.

The cost of the device will come down to what carrier you are with and where you live. In the UK the Samsung Galaxy Bote 2 comes with a price tag of £ 550 and the HTC One is available SIM free for roughly £ 550.

The

both devices come with Bluetooth 4, NFC and LTE. The HTC One comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 a / ac / b / g / n and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 comes with the S Pen while the HTC One has nothing of the sort. The HTC One has Blink Feed HTC Watch, Beats Audio and Zoe and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 comes with Smart Stay, Smart Rotate and S Voice.

The HTC does not only look like a premium handset, but it is a premium handset and this is down to the metal design and curves. The factthat the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 looks plastic is a major letdown.

They are both brilliant handsets and which one would work best for you would depend on the appearance, size of the handset and how much storage you are after.
