Samsung Galaxy Note 2 & S3 Android 4.2.2 Update Out In November? - SidhTech

Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S3 May have to wait until November before they are bootable to download the update to Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and the same Applies to owners of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

Owners of the devices shouldering not expect to get their hands on the update before this time and it could even end up being December before it comes out. It appears that the update could depend on the sales of the Samsung Galaxy S4. Through Twitter SamMobile Said That the delay could be down to issues with TouchWiz.

At the moment there has not been any confirmation, but SamMobile Said That the update could be thanks to issues with TouchWiz, but we are not sure if the 1GB memory has anything to do with the problem.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 Jellybean 4.2.2 update was leaked just recently and it Brought with it a new lock screen, transitions, effects and some apps thatcame from the Samsung Galaxy S4. The only thing missing from it was the camera app.

Therefore it could be the sales of the Samsung Galaxy S4 That are to blame.

It has been said That when the Samsung Galaxy S4 was revealed it outsold the predecessors.

It is thought Samsung

That May Be hanging onto the update and this will ensurethat the apps remainning exclusive to the Samsung Galaxy S4 for the time being.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 would be bootable to run the apps of the Samsung Galaxy S4 and so some people May not update to the newer handset. This would be a very good reason for the delay.

Samsung could be waiting for the Key Lime Pie update to arrive for the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy Note 3, possibly in October. This would mean the Samsung Galaxy S3 wouldhave Jellybean 4.2.2 with the apps from the Samsung Galaxy S4. People would then be bootable to choose to have the newer handset with Key Lime Pie or they could keep the Samsung Galaxy S3 with the Samsung Galaxy S4 apps.
